We didnt have to wait forever for an appointment; they came the same day. Came out to fix my oven this morning and told me the repair would cost $650 bucks. Told us we are better off buying a new oven. Love that they gave us an honest answer and didn't push for the repair just to get money. Super nice and will definatly call again if we need something check.

Stan arrived within 20 min of my call to AMZ to check an issue with my LG washer . He was quickly able to determine what the problem was and what parts (struts) needed replacing . The parts were ordered overnight and he came back today to do the repair with Alex . Both Stan and Alex were very knowledgeable, professional, and were able to repair the washer within 24 hours of the original visit . I would highly recommend AMZ for appliance repairs in the Chicagoland area ! AMZ are responsive and the technicians are very good.

They came out quick and did a thorough assessment. Gave me a quote to fix my issue and cleaning. They found a problem with my dryers motor and gave me options if I wanted the part ordered. We decided to go with purchasing a new dryer instead and they only charged us for the 89 dollar assessment call. So helpful and will be using them in the future.

My expensive thermador wall oven stopped working so I got in touch with AMZ and they came out on a Saturday to diagnose the problem. The technician ordered the part I needed and returned early Monday afternoon with another gentleman to make the repair. In less than an hour they removed the oven from its cabinet, fixed it and reinstalled it. They only charged me about $100 more than I thought it should be, which to me means it was reasonable. I would recommend them and use them again. Thanks AMZ!

I had a stovetop burner that wouldn’t easily ignite and when it did ignite, it wouldn’t burn very high. I contacted AMZ on-line. The technician arrived early within the promised service window. Beware!! I called AMZ last Saturday to look at my ice maker. While I was thrilled they could come out the same day, the technician took all of 10 seconds to diagnose the problem. I agreed to the purchase of a new ice maker, paid the 50% deposit. A second technician arrived on Monday to install it. When he removed the original ice maker I asked to take a look at it. Immediately I could see the problem. The arm that moves up and down wasn’t connected properly. Once we connected where it was supposed to be it operated just fine. The technician called the office and explained the situation. What I was told was they would put the original one back in and that I would receive a credit for the difference between the deposit I paid and 2 service calls.This has not happened!!! What should have cost $85 has cost me over $200.

We paid for a repair of an intermittent issue with our oven, but it continued not to function properly. They came out again and the issue (again, an intermittent one), did not appear while they were there, and they claimed they could do nothing, despite having already seen the issue, which they then misdiagnosed and did unnecessary work for.

Came out and told me a problem with a gas pressure was an issue with my appliance and recommended it might be best to buy a whole new appliance. Did so only to have the exact same problem. Called them again, they came back, and tried to say it was a problem with the new stove?! Makes no sense! Had someone else come check it out and they knew the issue immediately and I had it fixed that day. Never needed to buy a new stove and I was out of my ability to cook for a month on top of it for what the other guy figured out in a day.

We had a very bad experience with the technician who took all of 60 seconds to diagnose the issue. Told us repair would cost $350 and threatened us that his office would report us to collection agency if we did not pay the $89 for the visit. Extremely rude to my wife.

He even refused to leave the house even though I told him to send me the invoice and I would pay. We finally had to pay to just get him to leave the house.

We spoke to the office manager who did not intervene and was only focused on getting paid.

I would give a zero star if it was an option. I do not recommend this service to anyone.

AMZ appliances was awesome!! Stan did a fantastic job explaining what he was doing, & what needed to be done per fire department code for my dryer. I couldn’t believe all the lint in there. This could have been so dangerous for my family if Stan didn’t recommend cleaning it. He was also, very honest when it came to my washer. He told me it was the transmission and that it wouldn’t be worth fixing to purchase a new one. Thanks you AMZ team and Stan.

Bottom drawer freezer was icing up below drawer. After defrosting twice, time to find an expert.
Reached out and they were available to come the same day, that Saturday morning. Gave an arrival window and called when on the way.
Troubleshot, fixed and tested the solution all within that same window after confirming price. There was a $89 service fee, but it was deducted from final cost. Accepted Zelle which made payment easy.
For those wondering about the number of ratings, they do ask if you would provide Google feedback, but they do not pressure you or stand there making you feel like you must. They just offer you the QR code.
Good experience and nice to know they are insured and I would be lying if I didn’t say the Google guarantee did help me decide on who to reach out to. Thanks

Had an issue with oven not heating up properly. Called AMZ and they were able to get us in quickly. They fixed the issue within a few hours. Was a bit pricey but, glad they were able to fix the issue and have a short warranty on the parts.

We had our 14yo Sub-Zero fridge suddenly stop working. AMZ was contacted late (after 9pm) via online messenger. We had confirmation a tech would be at our house the next day between 9am & 1pm. Your technician arrived timely. He was very courteous and professional. At all times, he conducted himself very professionally. Through his strong technical expertise, he diagnosed our appliance’s problem very swiftly and quoted the repair cost, which was very reasonable. Will I do business with this company again? Our refrigerator failed, had no idea who to call, googled and found AMZ Appliance Repair. I called them at 7:08 PM and they had someone at my door by 9AM the next morning who not only fixed the problem but educated me on why it might have happened, how to avoid it in the future, and what maintenance to do to keep fridges happy and healthy. He didn’t make promises he couldn’t deliver, he didn’t talk down to me, he was fast and efficient and had everything fixed and cleaned in less than an hour. Excellent service. Val was able to come out the morning after my call to repair our Kenmore oven that wouldn't keep temperature. Prompt, courteous and professional staff. The service professional offered "best case" and "worst case" scenarios on our washer problem. We tried the "best case" fix and, unfortunately, did not fix the problem. The service professional was quick to note that the "worst case" repair would likely cost more than the washer was worth and did not push the additional repair. We appreciated his honesty. AMZ was able to get us an appointment quickly. The two men that came were very nice and helpful. They diagnosed the problem with our oven, got the part, and fixed it. They also took a quick look at our fridge because food was freezing. They gave us some helpful suggestions and it was very much appreciated. It is clear that the technician’s are very knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. I don’t recall their names but if I did I would mention them because of their excellent service.

I gladly reccomend AMZ. They came to my house to check my 37 year old washing machine. I thought it would require expensive repairs. Instead, AMZ's guys made sure that the washing machine was level. Once they did that, the machine worked beautifully. They only took payment for a service visit--they could have run up a bill but they didn't. I trust them. My dryer’s issue was “not heating “. He maintained it once like cleaning inside but my dryer doesn’t heat yet. He came to my house again and fixed it by replacing a coil.

Now, my dryer looks work well, he’s a really professional technician and great customer service. Of course, 2nd visit was for free, no additional charge for this trip.

His manager is also excellent, he arranged the technician on the day and I called and told the story it wasn’t fixed to him, he arranged the technician next day. Very quick work.

After calling a couple of places and not getting an answer, I decided to call AMZ Appliance Repair. Someone answered right away and two repairmen came out quickly to assess what was going on with my dishwasher. They were both very polite and courteous and explained exactly what the problem was. Highly recommend! I called about a leaking washing machine and had an appointment for that very same day. The repair man’s name was Alex. He was professional and approachable. Explained everything to me, showed me the problems with the washer and gave me options for fixing. The next day I got a call that parts were available and someone can come that very day but I scheduled for the following day. The repair men were different from the first day. Val and another repair man were punctual and fairly quick. Cleaned up after themselves and the washer is like brand new!
Many places ask for credit card info in advance but these guys take payment after work is done. That was important to me.
I have them in my contacts now. Definitely a company I would use again!

This site came up high in the Google search that I did, and with the Google backing (if the company doesn't do a good job, Google pays me back) I felt it wouldn't be a loss either way.

Responded within 5 minutes to my inquiry. Answered my general questions on price and offered to be out the next day. As this wasn't an emergency, that was fine. Showed up in time range and identified the issue. Part was ready for install the next day and installed. Didn't fix the issue but actually showed the real issue, which was then fixed and I was only charged for the initial fix. I was pretty stunned by the fact they called me and said they would make it right since they diagnosed it incorrectly at first - that's top notch customer service. Part was installed an hour later and all fixed.

Happy with the speed and service of AMZ and very impressed with the customer service to make it right. Will recommend them to others.

Updating review: just had another issue so called them out. Tech was able to solve my issue in about 5 minutes, so had him give the fridge a maintenance tune up and clean the condenser and such so I could get value for my trip charge. Still keeping the 5 star rating - great group.

My mom is 94 years old and her fully stocked 50 year old refrigerator stopped working late at night. I googled Appliance Repair and AMZ Appliance Repair was the first one that popped up. I was delighted that someone answered and told me they’d have a repairman out first thing in the morning. Excellent customer service! The repairman, Alex Sasha was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He diagnosed the problem immediately and luckily had the part in stock. Alex ran to the warehouse and came back in a half hour, replaced the part and now my mom’s fridge works beautifully. They charge $89 for the diagnostic fee (which is far less than other companies) however, that amount is credited back to you from the cost of the part - and they give you a 90 day warranty! Their price is fair and when I called again to inquire where to get the bulb that burned out, they told me they’d come out again to replace the bulb, free of charge. I would highly recommend this company. Although they’ve only been in business for 4 years, they are very eager to help. My mom intends to inform everyone in her condominium complex how very happy we were with their service.
